What to Expect:

 

Your journey begins with an 11 AM departure from the hostel. After a scenic 25-minute drive, we arrive at a local cooperative, where you’ll explore a small garden with a variety of herbs and plants, including aloe vera and other cactus-based flora. Here, you’ll discover Morocco’s natural treasures and learn how these ingredients are transformed into argan oil, creams, and other traditional products. You’ll have the chance to browse the cooperative’s shop for unique souvenirs, including pure mountain argan oil made by local women.

 

Our next stop is the Secret Spot, a hidden gem accessed by a 25-minute drive past the breathtaking Paradise Valley. Although it went dry seven years ago, another secluded oasis—Secret Valley—was uncovered nearby. After an adventurous 15-minute off-road descent, we reach a remote village of just five houses, where a local woman hosts us under the shade of a large Argan tree. Here, you’ll enjoy tea, amlou (a delicious nut spread), honey, and fresh bread while soaking up the tranquil mountain views.

 

Following this relaxing break, we set out on a 30-minute hike to reach a pristine natural pool, ideal for swimming and cliff-jumping. The water is crystal-clear, and you can even enjoy a natural fish pedicure. Take time to swim, relax by the pool, or have a warm cup of tea.

 

To conclude the day, we return to the village for a delightful late lunch prepared by our host, savoring local flavors in an authentic setting. We then head back to the hostel, arriving just before sunset.
